Hey, I'm Dom - welcome to my little corner of the internet! I'm a mom of two tiny humans + a dog, but I'm not just a mom. Before I became a tantrum taming, diaper slinging, coffee reheating pro I spent my twenties riding and racing dirt bikes. I landed my dream job designing bike decals at the end of my "moto decade" and then at the ripe age of thirty, I became a Mom.

In my second post-partum journey somewhere between sleep regressions, snack negotiations and remembering who I was before babies, I realized I needed a creative outlet to just share. Not a perfectly curated highlight reel. Not just tips and hacks. But a space for the real stuff - the emotional, the funny, the tired, the who-the-heck-am-I-now, and the figure-it-out-as-I-go side of motherhood. Enter this blog - A Mom Named Dom.

DOMesticated-ish, if you will. Some days I feel like I have this mom thing figured out (or at least dinner), and other days I'm screaming into my pillow over-stimulated AF wondering how I've strayed so far from who I was just 3 years ago. And both days are equally valid. This is not a how-to blog. This blog is a safe space where I'll be sharing:

  • The magic moments and the meltdowns

  • The real and raw side of post-partum

  • What I've learned thus far and am still learning

  • What's helping me feel like me again

  • Tiny joys and tired rants

  • All things motherhood and then some

If you've ever felt like you're doing it wrong - you're not.

If you've ever felt like you're the only one that can't stay on top of the mountain of laundry - same. If you've ever felt like your past self isn't quite fitting into your present self - I got you. So if you're an adventure loving, deep feeling, over-stimulated, domesticated-ish mom like me then this space is for you. If I help even one mom feel less alone then that's a win in my books. We're in this together... Thanks for being here ♥︎ Love,

Dom
